35 beds Ulysses is the only hospital in the program though. 12 out of the 26 nurses in the hospital were interested in participating. Many nurses, who have already been to the medical center work for 3-4 days in eight to twelve hour shifts.

All the nurses, including a 35 year old, who are worked in Ulysses for almost 5 years, looked forward to it with excitement. It was a great experience for her as she was assigned the care of kidney, liver and bone marrow transplant patients; and also spent some time in the hematology department.
